The CDA and the VVD pose parliamentary questions about the stoppage of an article in the Saxion magazine. The unpublished interview with Shayno Numansen (24) was about a documentary about the Aramaic genocide in Turkey that she realized.
According to Deurningse Shayno, Saxion reportedly said that the subject was too sensitive in the Turkish community. Saxion announced on its own website that the publication was not stopped by the school.

Judith Tielen, a member of the Dutch parliament of the VVD, also reports on Twitter that she will pose parliamentary questions to the Minister of Education, Culture and Science.

Other politicians also expressed their views on the situation . For example, Annabel Nanninga Group Chair of Forum for Democracy in Amsterdam and GroenLink MP Zihni Özdil said they did not agree with the decision not to publish this article.

Documentary
Shayno studied media, information and communication at the Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede. The student herself is of Aramaic origin and therefore very interested in the history of Aramaic Christians.
So she decided to make a documentary about the Aramaic genocide for her education and she plunged into the history of the Arameans.
