Statistics Netherlands (CBS) mapped the Dutch retail trade figures for May 2018. This shows that the Dutch retail trade sold 3.4% more than at the same time last year.
However, the shoe industry is going through a difficult period. After declines in sales in January (-5.5), February (-4.5) and March (-16.0) in 2018, the gain of 13.2% recorded in April was a boon huge.
