Construction worker gets grinding machine in the neck (and this is not the first time)

According to the AD, the construction worker was cutting a retaining wall when the machine flew from his hand and landed in his neck. Bystanders said it was a grinding machine. The man was taken to the hospital. We do not know how it goes with him.

This is not the first time that a construction worker is injured by a grinder in the summer. In The Hague, a construction worker also received a rotary grinder in his neck in July 2017. In August 2015, a professional from Dordrecht received a grinder in his leg.

The SZW Inspection investigates the circumstances of the accident. In an interview with Cobouw, Inspector Michel Schenk explained that many accidents can be avoided in construction. He is particularly annoyed by the building accidents that occur again and again. "Repetition happens mostly."
