More than 77,000 euros in tax debts collected and 23 cars seized during major traffic checks

At a major traffic control on Dr. Jan Ingen Houszplein in Breda, the police collected more than 77,000 euros in tax debts. In addition, 23 cars were seized and 25 cars were removed. These 25 cars serve as collateral to compel the owners to pay their tax debt.

The tax authorities, the municipality of Breda, the police of foreigners and various police teams participated in the control. A total of 192 vehicles were checked.

Several official reports have also been published, including on driving without a license, exceeding the speed limit, the absence of a seatbelt, smooth tires and mopeds capable of driving faster than expected. In addition, various outstanding fines have been levied.
