A motorist drove Friday night after a fatal collision with a pedestrian on the Leenderweg in Eindhoven. The accident occurred around ten o'clock near the Floraplein. The police are looking for a small white car (Renault) badly damaged in the front and on the right side.
The accident occurred just before the roundabout, at the junction between Floraplein and Leenderheide, at the intersection of the city. A67 and A2. No pedestrians can walk on the section of road where the collision occurred. The car should have left the highway towards the city.
Trucker
The trauma helicopter was called but could not say anything more for the pedestrian. According to the local agents, the victim is a Romanian truck driver. They suspected that he had parked his truck about 150 meters away from a roadside failure.
