The court judges in part on the basis of the confessions of the accused that in December 2002 he had for the first time assaulted a girl suffering from a disorder related to autism and intellectual disability. The victim stated that the abuse had started in 1999, but according to the court the available evidence was insufficient . The abuse began when the suspect of the girl's mother was put in the shelter. In April 2003, the suspect suspected was transferred to a private caravan at a campsite. From that moment, he offered her shelter and took her everywhere, including to school. The defendant according to the court abused his psychic superiority over the girl and forced her to remain in community until January 2012.
According to the officer of Justice this period lasted 5.5 years more. The court however held that there was insufficient evidence to establish that the girl could not withdraw from sexual acts during this latter period.
Between June and September 2012, the defendant was guilty of mistreating a 9-year-old girl according to the court . She stayed with the suspect a few times in his caravan and inflicted on him a form of sexual abuse of considerable significance.
