In Aalsmeer, Van Cleeffkade, an armed man tried to steal a pocket car. The attempt failed and the suspect escaped.
According to a police spokesman, the suspect allegedly attempted to sneak between the car's money and the facade of a bank building. No money has been captured.
Shortly after the attempted robbery, the police conducted a major search. The helicopter looked out of the suspect and a search dog was used to no avail.
Citizens were asked to monitor the suspect via his net. He would be white, about 1.80 meters tall, wearing glasses and wearing a backpack. Anyone who saw the man was asked to call 112 and not to approach him himself.
