Arrests for the Domestic Chemical Trade

The arrests took place in Alkmaar, Houten, Rotterdam and IJsselstein. The five (aged 23 to 54) are suspected of preparing for drug production, possession of drugs and money laundering. The FIOD is conducting research on cash deposits totaling € 600,000 on suspects' bank accounts. The UWV is investigating several years of fraud with the help of one of the suspects.

The FIOD suspects suspects of having used empty or dormant businesses to control chemicals. These companies were on behalf of cat-catchers. On June 26, the FIOD conducted 22 searches in homes and hangars as part of this search.
