GIETEN – The big fire that raged this afternoon on a farm from De Bonnen to Gieten is under control
According to spokesman Dirk van Dijken from the region of Drenthe safety the signal 'fire master' given. Firefighters could have prevented the fire from spreading to the nearby farm and barn. There is barely anything left of the barn
The fire broke out around quarter past two. At first, firefighters spoke of two barns, but it turned out to be one. There was storage of agricultural machinery and straw.
