Two fires in two days seem pretty serious, but it was not over yet for the farmer: he was hit again on Sunday, November 11th. Another shed of Snitselaar burned down and fifty cows were killed. Even the dog that woke him up at the first fire was killed.
Last night, a fire broke out again on the farmer's property. This time it was a small fire, but it's not a coincidence that the farmer now knows for sure. In RTV Utrecht he says that he thinks it has something to do with his nature.
Enemies
About a year ago, the man came out of the closet. He was married and had two children, but his ex-wife and he separated in good consultation. Still, it was a shock, too for his own family. He comes from a strict traditional Christian family. He had already been threatened for it.
But not only did his nature play a role, the farmer would have had more enemies. Some time ago, he took a hen house and a part of the poultry that accompanied him to one of his farms. The owner had gone bankrupt and had to leave. When it appeared that the barn was contaminated by Fipronil, the farmer filed a claim for one million euros.
