The automatic weapons found by the police in Hengelo and Enschede were used during liquidation attempts in Twente and on the other side of the German border. At this moment, one seeks to know if they were also used in a murder in Enschede and in a shishalounge.

During assaults that occurred yesterday in Hengelo and Enschede, among others, AK47s and a rocket launcher were found. Two suspects were arrested. According to the police, one of the weapons was used during an attempted murder last year against a man on a parking lot in Gronau, Germany. The weapons were probably also used in an incident where a hairdresser was set on fire in Enschede

. In both cases, a person may have changed. "Maybe these two people were not the right target," said a police spokesman at RTV Oost. She does not want to lose more. Four suspects had already been arrested in both cases.

The Netherlands Institute of Forensic Science investigates whether the same weapons were also used in the murder of a man in Enschede at the end of January. The victim was found in his car in the middle of a railway crossing. This intersection is close to a shishalounge, which was shot down last year, perhaps also with the found weapons.
