Stintum announced last Monday to have filed a petition in bankruptcy with the court. According to Renzen, there was no money left because of Stint's prohibition. The director now thinks the stint will be accepted again. In this case, the carts that are now stored at Stintum can still be sold. Renzen could find a new petition in bankruptcy if the situation did not change quickly.

During consultations in the House of Representatives, Minister Van Nieuwenhuizen said Tuesday that it "is quite possible" that a "form of Stint" led again. Doubts about security may no longer exist, the minister said, according to the ANP news agency.

The reason for the temporary ban on the relay is the accident at Oss, where four children were killed and two seriously injured at the end of September. A relay was taken by a train on a railroad crossing, perhaps because there was something wrong with the wagon. Van Stenhuizen removed the relay from the road in early October because of "potential safety risks".
