On appeal Tuesday against former PVV's Daniël van der Stoep (37 years old), a five-month jail sentence was requested, of which three were conditional, and a community service of 240 hours. This confirms the Public Prosecution Service. According to OM, the former MP attempted to seduce three underage girls into sex. He is also in charge of possession of cocaine.
This requirement is in accordance with the judgment of the District Court of The Hague in December 2015.
Grooming
The former politician was found guilty of possession and grooming of cocaine. He gave the three girls (between 14 and 16 years old) gifts, money and even drugs. In addition, he sent with his phone hints – all according to the judge was intended to seduce the girl. They refused to go to bed with the man. One of them was the daughter of a former colleague of Van der Stoep. For two years, he tried to seek sexual contact with the girls.
The father of the girls complained against the ex-PVV after finding Van der Stoep's spicy messages on his daughter's phone. Former member denies having sexual intentions with messages and gifts
Car accident
Van der Stoep served in the European Parliament from July 2009 to July 2014. He started as a member of the PVV, but put his seat under pressure after causing an accident under the influence of alcohol. From December 2011, he continued as an independent member. He set up the eurosceptic group Article 50. This party started in early 2015 in VoorNederland, the party of former members of the PVV, Louis Bontes and Joram van Klaveren, after having won no seat in the European Parliament elections in 2014.
