Great fire in the farm Zijldijk (update) – Groningen – DVHN.nl

The fire has been increased to Grip 1, which means that good communication between emergency services is very important. The fire started in the barn, but has meanwhile moved to the adjacent hangar of the farm. There are also some small fires in the neighboring grain fields. An extra fire truck was called for this.

The fire brigade is present with a cherry picker and submersible pumps to fight the fire as best as possible.

Smoke

Much smoke is released by fire and this is visible in the wider area. Firefighters advise local residents to keep windows and doors closed, even if they are suffering from smoke. The farm is detached, so there is little chance that the fire will spread to other houses.

We are on our way to the Kolholsterweg in Zijldijk due to a farm fire. The fire is completely exhausted, that is why we rose to a big fire.
