Predatory Journal

To publish in predatory journals, researchers have to pay money. In addition, studies submitted by scientists are not sufficiently verified for inaccuracies. Lewis wanted to denounce this. He sent the article to many of these dubious articles and Crimson Editions reacted positively to Lewis' paper in no time.

Crimson Publishers wanted to publish the article, provided that the professor receives not less than 581 US dollars paid to the newspaper. Lewis replied that he could not pay that. Crimson Publisher was so "nice" to make 99 US dollars, but that too could not spit the professor. Because it was such a revolutionary research, he gave newspaper to publish it for free this time.

Withdrawn

Crimson Publishers indicates on the website that peer-review (by which independent researchers examine the work of the scientists concerned and evaluate whether the study is of a sufficient quality it can contribute to discipline) is of paramount importance to the magazine. Lewis doubts because his article is full of weird errors. For example, he did not write that politicians Boris Johnson and Teresa May were interviewed, but Boris Johnski and Teresa Maybe. Jep, really .

Shortly after The Conversation contacted Crimson Publishers, Lewis received an email saying that his article had been removed because it "did not meet the requirements of the journal". Fortunately, the professor still has the pdf version, which shows that it was published by Crimson Publishing on July 2nd.
