The mysterious disappearance has occupied emotions for nearly 27 years. Countless investigations have not clarified the case. Willeke never heard of him again.

What happened to Willeke Dost?
Willeke Dost, age 15, disappears from her adoptive parents' farm in Koekange on the night of January 14-15, 1992. An Unhappy Life

In 1987, Willeke went to the Mulders family in Koekange. The family is composed of adoptive father Piet, adoptive mother Herna, two adoptive brothers and an adoptive sister. First investigation
Two days after Willeke's disappearance, the police appealed to the public for help, because no one has seen the teenager yet. "The police have now checked all the places where the girl could stay," Radio Drenthe reports Friday morning, Jan. 17, 1992.

A team of eight detectives get on the job, but the investigation does not show up. leads to nothing. The case is closed on April 23, 1992, because "there is no longer any possibility of investigation that may lead to the residence of Willke Dost," says detective Rein van der Veen at the same time. ;time.

Police receive forty tips in total about the case. "This gives a sense of frustration, everyone put a lot of energy, but that did not lead to a solution," Van der Veen said.

Peter R. de Vries
The case of Willeke Dost occupies the bustling atmosphere. The crime journalist Peter R. de Vries arrives in 1996 with a revelation. The criminal Wim S. de Geldrop reportedly killed eleven women, including girls Willeke Dost and Andrea Luten of Ruinen, according to a co-detainee. The police do not see any reason to reopen the case. Andrea Luten seems to have been murdered by Henk F. de Hoogeveen, as it appears years later.

Murder of Children by the National Team

Police and the Crown retake the case in 2009. Former detective Dick Gosewehr of Vledder states that the disappearance must be stopped for murder. Gosewehr considered the missing of 2004 as a cold case. He already concluded that there was probably a serious crime. But nothing has been done with his conclusions.

On June 7, 2010, the police will return to action. Adoptive mother Herna and adoptive brother Bart are arrested. The farm from which Willeke disappeared is under investigation. Soils are being demolished and much of the ground behind the building is being excavated. The host family continues to deny any involvement in the disappearance. Herna and Bart are released again, they are no longer suspected.
