Many goat farmers still need to be vaccinated against Q fever

[ad_1]

Goat breeders are legally required to vaccinate their animals annually against Q fever. This must have occurred at least before August 1 of this year. Figures available for the Netherlands Agency (RVO.nl) show that a large number of goat producers have not yet been vaccinated. About a third of professional goat farmers have not yet been vaccinated. Goat breeders must vaccinate twice if the interval is greater than 1 year between repeated vaccinations.
