It has been established that sibutramine is contained in these products

Severe side effects

Sibutramine is an active substance that is not allowed in food supplements or other foods. The name of this substance is not mentioned on the slimming products found. People who use these products can have serious side effects such as heart problems, anxiety, high blood pressure and dizziness. The NVWA advises consumers not to use these resources and to inform the NVWA when they have purchased the products or if they are on sale. NVWA issued a public warning in 2016 and 2017 for similar products with hazardous substances. In May 2017, NVWA released the results of a study on pharmacologically active substances in dietary supplements.
