The defendant was presented to the trial judge on Friday. The police followed him through a collaboration between the Amsterdam police and the Serbian police. They observed the suspect while he was traveling to Belgium from Amsterdam in a car. He has just been arrested beyond the border.

The victim was found in front of one of the porch houses on the street. He was riddled with dozens of bullets. He died in the hospital. The same evening, a police helicopter searched.

Police suspect that the victim was deliberately lured to the Piet Mondriaanstraat in Amsterdam in March. The shooter would have met him there and reportedly shot him. The cause of the liquidation would be a conflict in the drug trade. The victim was probably engaged in drug trafficking between the Netherlands and Scandinavia.

More detentions are not excluded at the moment. The Attorney General of Amsterdam awarded a reward of 20,000 euros for the tip that leads to the solution of this case

Second arrest

In the investigation of the incident, a house from South Amsterdam was shown to the police. In this house, a 34-year-old Serb was arrested for his involvement in drug trafficking. The police also found more than a million and a half euros.
