The small dog was part of a company that was traveling to Maastricht for a wedding. During a break at the Lucht gas station on the A2 just outside Zaltbommel, another dog of the partygoers suddenly jumped off the bus.

This animal was soon taken back, and the company resumed its journey south. But what they had not noticed, was that the Chihuahua had taken the legs while stopping.
The dog was left alone at the service station. Eventually, the animal ambulance arrived and brought the Chihuahua to an asylum a few kilometers away in Bruchem.
Driving Back
Meanwhile, the company on the bus discovered that a dog had disappeared. Through telephone contact with Animal Ambulance, they discovered where the dog was, but driving back could no longer be because of the wedding time.
A taxi brought a solution. He picked up the dog at the shelter and brought it to Maastricht.
