EINDHOVEN – In a house in Hobbemastraat in Eindhoven on Monday evening, a woman was found dead. She would have been there for weeks. A police spokesman speaks of a "longer time". People in the neighborhood called the police because they had not seen the woman for a while. When the officers arrived at the house and were not opened, they forced the door. They immediately noticed that it was bad because of the smell of the house.
Firefighters who were called before midnight then entered the house with oxygen masks. They found the deceased woman, the occupant of the house, in the living room.
Before a special police forensic team entered the house, firefighters first vented the house. According to a spokesman for the police, there is no question of crime. "We suppose a natural death," he says.
