Lose weight just by thinking that you are losing weight: it sounds almost too good to be true, but scientists have discovered that it really was the case.
There is even a name for this special waste treatment method, namely "Functional Imaging Training" (FIT). According to the International Journal of Obesity, this method was studied by the University of Plymouth
. Two research groups
The technique was extensively tested in a study of 141 overweight people. Half of the group received an intervention based on motivational conversations. The other half of the group received motivational presentations that were developed with the FIT method. That's how they learned to visualize each goal that they had. They had to present their purpose as clearly as possible, including the feelings that accompanied them, so that they hear, smell, see and feel. For example, both groups did not receive any lifestyle advice regarding what they were allowed to eat
Results
After twelve months, weight loss and circumference of the 141 subjects were examined. The group that had participated in the FIT method had lost six and a half pounds in total. Their abdominal circumference had also decreased by nine centimeters. The other group had lost only half a kilo and no more than two and a half centimeters in waist circumference.
