New COVID-19 symptom: ‘COVID tongue’ is the latest problem

Researchers have unveiled a potential new symptom of COVID-19 – “COVID tongue”.

What is happening?

British researcher recently said there have been more reported cases of people suffering from tongue discoloration, enlargement and other mouth issues.

• The searcher – Tim spector, professor of genetic epidemiology at King’s College London – called the experiment ‘COVID language’.
• “Seeing an increasing number of COVID tongues and strange mouth ulcers. If you have a weird symptom or even just a headache and fatigue, stay home! he said.

Spector said more than a third of patients with COVID-19 – nearly 35% – experienced unconventional symptoms within the first three days of infection.

• He said toes, rashes and other warning signs of COVID-19 shouldn’t be ignored.
• “It’s a good reminder that there are so many different manifestations of this virus rather than just classic manifestations,” Spector told NBC News.
