  • A woman in her sixties from McKinley County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying conditions.
  • A woman in her 90s from Otero County.
  • A woman in her sixties from San Juan County.
  • A man in his 90s from Sierra County. The individual had underlying conditions and was residing at the Sierra Health Care Center in Truth or Consequences.
  • A woman in her sixties from the county of Valencia. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying conditions.
  • A man in his 90s from the county of Valencia. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying conditions.

The death toll of New Mexico residents linked to COVID-19 is now 3,685.

In addition to the deaths, the state has reported 659 additional cases of COVID-19. New Mexico reported a total of 184,736 cases on Friday.

  • 8 new cases in Chaves County
  • 1 new case in Cibola County
  • 10 new cases in Colfax County
  • 3 new cases in Curry County
  • 58 new cases in Doña Ana County

  • 13 new cases in Lea County

  • 3 new cases in Los Alamos County

  • 9 new cases in Rio Arriba County
  • 26 new cases in Sandoval County
  • 10 new cases in San Juan County
  • 2 new cases in San Miguel County

KOB 4 determined that there was a positivity result of 3.79% of the tests analyzed in the state’s Friday report.

The state reports that 226 people are currently hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19.

As of Friday, there were 141,833 cases of COVID-19 designated as cured by the New Mexico Department of Health.
