  • A man in his 60s from McKinley County.
  • A woman in her 50s from San Juan County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying conditions. The individual resided at the Bloomfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bloomfield.
  • A man in his 60s from San Juan County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying conditions.
  • Man in his 80s from San Juan County. The individual resided at the Bloomfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bloomfield.
  • A second man in his 80s from San Juan County. The individual had underlying conditions.
  • A woman in her 90s from Santa Fe County. The individual resided at the Kingston Residence in Santa Fe.
  • A man in his 60s from Taos County. The individual was hospitalized.

The death toll of New Mexico residents linked to COVID-19 is now 3,599.

In addition to the deaths, the state has reported 318 more cases of COVID-19. New Mexico reported a total of 182,050 cases on Friday.

The latter cases include:

  • 1 new case in Catron County
  • 13 new cases in Chaves County
  • 2 new cases in Curry County
  • 63 new cases in Doña Ana County
  • 11 new cases in Eddy County

  • 10 new cases in Lincoln County
  • 1 new case in Los Alamos County

KOB 4 determined there was a 2.89% positivity result from the tests analyzed in the state’s Friday report.

The state reports that 278 people are currently hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19.

As of Thursday, 128,299 cases of COVID-19 were designated as cured by the New Mexico Department of Health.
