Google may soon unveil a brand new Pixel 3: the Pixel 3 Lite model cheaper than some Android fans might have been waiting for. According to rumors, the Pixel 3 Lite would have already proven itself in a set of leaks a few days ago. But new images show us how Pixel 3 Lite will be compared to Pixel 3 XL and iPhone XR.
The Pixel 3 XL and iPhone XR are rather big phones, with screens measuring respectively 6.3 inches and 6.1 inches. Russian blog Wylsa has released the following images, illustrating the Pixel 3 Lite next to the Pixel 3 XL and the new Apple iPhone. As you can see below, the Pixel 3 Lite is slightly smaller than the Pixel 3 XL:
The screen has no notch, which means that you can expect great top and bottom frames. The Pixel 3 Lite screen is smaller than the 5.8-inch iPhone X / XS screen, but the Pixel 3 Lite has a larger footprint than both. It seems that the Pixel 3 Lite is about as high as the iPhone XR, the iPhone being wider than the cheap pixel of Google.
The same site says the Pixel 3 Lite will feature a plastic design and a Snapdragon 670 processor. Other specifications include 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, but no microSD support. The phone should have the same rear camera as the Pixel 3 phones, although it is not known if it also contains the chip dedicated to Google's camera, the Visual Core Pixel.
We do not know when the Pixel 3 Lite will be launched and we have no price to pay for it. But given these modest specifications, it is likely that the phone will be much more environmentally friendly than your phone Pixel 3.
