New type of banner with replay characters, weapon leaks

Genshin Impact update 2.3 will be the last update this year, and it looks like miHoYo has some interesting plans for the same.

We have update 2.2, and it will be a relatively smaller update. We only get a new character, Thoma, as well as new regions, quests and more. While it’s still a lot, the previous updates have been considerably bigger.

All that aside, the next update coming after 2.2 is Update 2.3, and there are a few cool things to look forward to in this update. First, we know that Gorou and Itto will be arriving as part of the update. Itto has captured the attention of many fans already and will undoubtedly be one of the most popular characters in the game.

Genshin Impact 2.3 Leaks: New Banner Type with Replay Characters, Weapons Leak

We received a pretty unusual leak today, and it indicates that the next update will be a new type of banner. According to a post on the Gernshin Impact leaks subreddit, there will be a new type of in-game banner in the next update. Here’s what the leak says, courtesy of nkhrchy.

The leaker says that after the replay of Childe 2.2 there will be a new type of banner after 2.3 that contains both characters and weapons?

The banner will contain characters who have already gone through 2 reruns (e.g. Childe) and it will have a mechanic similar to the path epitomized for the weapon banner currently. Thus, these characters will no longer appear in the regular limited banner.

I’m not sure if anyone has downloaded it, so I’ll put it here first.

the banner can only be put up when there are at least 2 characters who have had 2 reruns. Maybe a new currency but not confirmed at time of publication.

While all of this should be taken with care as always, this is very big news as it will add a new dimension to the game’s gacha system. Until now, players have had to wait a long time for reruns. of banners, but if that turns out to be true, their wait could become considerably less.
