A six-port USB-C hub from Hyper has been specifically designed to slip on the side of the iPad Pro 2018. It provides access to all types of wired accessories supported by the latest professional tablet Apple.

After a successful campaign on Kickstarter, the HyperDrive 6-in-1 USB-C hub was launched today.

Its maker calls it "the perfect accessory for students, business travelers and iPad Pro users who want maximum connectivity and convenience in a compact package.

However, he has a rival. The Satechi aluminum C-type mobile hub has also been designed for the iPad Pro. It is smaller but only includes four commonly used ports.

Designed for iPad Pro

No matter which USB-C hub can be connected to a recent iPad Pro, but the HyperDrive has a bracket that keeps the hub on the side of the tablet. This splint is removable and a USB-C extension cable is included so that the hub can be used with a MacBook or other computer.

Built-in Hyper in a 4K HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-A 3.0 port for connecting to hardwired keyboards.

There is also a pair of SD and microSD card readers. Be aware, however, that iOS only supports the use of external storage for importing images and videos.

Naturally, the HyperDrive for iPad Pro has its own USB-C port, which allows the tablet to recharge with all other connected accessories.
