Hello, Gang Green Nation! We’re only a day away from kicking off the New York Jets’ opening day, but that’s probably not what’s most important on the minds of many today. Today marks the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. 2,977 people were killed by terrorists on that terrible day. Countless more have died of illnesses linked to the cloud of toxic dust inhaled by first responders and people fleeing the sites. 20 years have passed. An entire generation has grown up with no memory of that day. But those of us who have lived this story will never forget it.
