Fastest in the wet, fastest in the dry – Day 1 of the Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas belonged firmly to Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team), but Jack Miller of Ducati Lenovo Team is very close to second place before the qualifying day. Behind the top three is Pol Espargaro (Repsol Honda Team), the Spaniard who looks good in wet and dry conditions at COTA, and with Nakagami fifth it is a very promising opening day for Honda. . It looks like the rain is coming before FP3 in Austin, so the top 10 could be Q2 automatic qualifying. Marc Marquez is the fastest in wet and dry, however, Miller is on the sheriff’s case.
