It was referenced in some of his songs, but now the worlds really collided as Lana Del Rey wrote a new song for a upcoming documentary on Elvis Presley

Del Rey posted a music video of the song, aptly called "Elvis", on his Twitter that accompanied a documentary clip, entitled The King and directed by Eugene Jarecki. 19659005] My composition & # 39; Elvis & # 39;

NME reports that 'Elvis & # 39; is actually a demo of Del Rey in 2008 when she was recording under another name. She did not make her debut as Lana Del Rey until 2011 when she released the conquering "video games".

This is the first "new" music we have heard from Del Rey since the release of her 2017 album, Lust For Life who saw her touring Australia for the first time time in six years, where she actually watched another new song, "Happiness Is A Butterfly"
