The jewel thieves are on the run from police in Sweden, after stealing some of the Swedish royal jewels from a cathedral, before escaping in a motor boat.
The flight occurred on Tuesday around noon at Strängnäs, west of Stockholm. the church was open to visitors and a lunch fair was held nearby
The local news channel Aftonbladet reports that the thieves stole two crowns and one orb, adorned with gold, precious stones and pearls from the funeral insignia of Charles IX and Kristina. Elder, dating back to the early 1600s.
Tom Rowell, who is getting married next week at the cathedral, told Aftonbladet that he saw two men running away from the building, jumping into a small motor boat white and run away in speed
