Wedding guests Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook on June 30 were incredibly generous – but the gifts they brought to the celebration were not for the newlyweds.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Cuoco, 32, explained that she "
" Instead of human wedding gifts, Norman [Cuoco’s dog] asked the guests to bring donations of dogs and cats for @pawworks that will be delivered this week. Wow everyone went through !!! Incredible gifts and gifts for our 4-legged friends. Thank you to everyone, what an amazing result! We feel so blessed and happy. "
An accompanying photo featured all the products, plus a giant portrait of Norman, made by photographer Monica Hoover.
Cuoco has never been shy about his love of animals, sharing regularly photos of his puppies and horses on Instagram, and his wedding was even thematic, taking place in a stable in San Diego – partly because his new husband, aged 27, is a professional equestrian. Cuoco dogs also participated in the wedding. "All I wanted was to be surrounded by our animals," she writes in another Instagram. "Nothing made me happier."
