The Fuji Rock Festival was held last weekend in Yuzawa, Japan, and some popular American artists took the stage. Among them, Vampire Weekend, who invited special guest Danielle Haim on stage to play some tunes. With just a tambourine in her hand, she sang on the band's "Obvious Bicycle" track in 2013, then, on guitar, she switched to Thin Lizzy's classic jam "The boys are back in town".

The other performers in the massive Fuji Rock formation included the Spanish rock quartet Hinds, who had a strange following in Japan, as well as Kacey Musgraves, Mac DeMarco, Courts and NERD, Kendrick Lamar and Bob Dylan (!), who closed the weekend.

Vampire Weekend, whose first album was 10 years old this year, played its first show four years earlier this summer. They have also been teasing new music, recently revealing that their much anticipated fourth album is "94.5 percent done."

Haim
recently completed their tour of Sister Sister Sister, and earlier this summer Saturday Night Live parodied the Californian trio in a musical sketch. Delighted your Monday with the impression of Tina Fey here.

While you're here, listen to Haim Daytrotter's 2012 session Session below.
