N etflix bought the international rights to Snowpiercer, a new television series based on the most expensive Korean film ever made.

The sci-fi drama starring Oscar-nominated Jennifer Connelly and Hamilton's Tony winner Daveed Diggs, co-produced by ITV and the American TNT network.

Dystopian Thriller Seven years after a second Ice Age, he follows a huge train that surrounds the globe holding some of the last survivors on Earth. As the train is divided between social classes and many fear for the future of their world, tensions inevitably increase.

Based on the 2013 Korean-English film by director Bong Joon-ho of the same name, starring Chris Evans and Tilda Swinton.

The $ 40 million feature film provokes controversy in the film industry when Harvey Weinstein held the US distribution rights – ordered Bong to cut 20 minutes of the film and rewrite it heavily. The director refused, leading The Weinstein Company to the screen in only eight cinemas. A director's break was published in 2014.
