Rhys Darby plays the villain in the new Ninja Turtles

New Zealand comedian Rhys Darby has been announced as the voice of the hippo super villain in the new cartoon series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer was shown at Comic-Con. The series sees Raph, Leo, Donnie and Mikey discover new powers and meet a mystical world they did not know existed under the streets of New York.

Darby will speak of Hypno-Potamus, a mutant magician / hippopotamus.
