But when Elle Macpherson posted a snap on Instagram on Sunday, she found herself the subject of ruthless criticism from online trolls

. She was visible in the frame, her feet – which various commentators have chosen as "scary" and "ugly".

The snapshot of her, captioned: "Peace," was taken while she was basking in front of an infinity. The pool overlooking a dazzling view of the ocean, reports the Daily Mail.
