The Most Enigmatic Motor Sports Superstar in the World –
The Stig – is lined up to play in two days of live action at
the next CRC Speedshow event at ASB Showgrounds
the weekend of July 20th and 2nd 1.
Stig – better
known as the former F1, Le Mans and a single-seater motor sport asport
Perry McCarthy will open live action on the site
outdoor arena on Saturday and Sunday. He will be
also share his considerable skills with lucky members of the
audience in The Stig Challenge, which will see four
competitors will be taken for a ride around the Speedshow
track in the new Hyundai i30N hot hatch with The Stig at the
wheel, before being driven by the legend itself, and then
go head to head to win a prize.

Bike and Harley Davidson V-Rods will impress the crowds with
their presence and their breathtaking performance, while the
quieter but no less impressive machines Hyundai EV

The popular KW Stunt
bikes, the ultimate challenge of the machine at speed and accuracy
Tandem driving completes the busy schedule, and
attention also for interviews and demonstrations with Kiwi
drift icons Fanga Dan and Darren Kelly.
And as a sepcial
treat, at popular demand, the Kumho Tires Jet Car is
back. This year, however, it will not be available until
17:15 on Saturdays – when it's almost dark – to get the most out
visual effect of the jet explosion in a spectacular flame
show.
This year's spectacular CRC Speedshow opens its doors
doors to the ASB Showgrounds during the weekend of July 20 and
21. Tickets are available from Eventfinda and there is
still a number of Early Bird offers to get things done
with tickets starting at $ 22.50 and tickets for families
available for mom and dad and two kids and also tickets for
groups with children under 12 who are free when accompanied
