The Queen's two main public relations leaders to leave after the Thomas Markle debacle

Sally Osman, Director of Royal Communications, and Steve Kingstone, Queen's Media Secretary, leave Buckingham Palace.

Osman, a former director of communications at the BBC, took office after taking charge of public relations with the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall in 2013.

Kingstone, former BBC journalist in 2016. He will become Director of Communications at Oxfam.

It is understood that Osman will not be replaced and a new position, Secretary of Communications for the Queen, will include both roles.
