GameStop’s first Pro Day sale in 2021 kicks off Saturday 23 January, offering PowerUp Rewards Pro members the opportunity to save on games, accessories and collectibles. As usual, the sale will last for a full 24 hours, and only Pro members logged into their account will be able to take advantage of the online offers. Pro Day offers will also be available in store.

There are a few good deals out there, but for a lot of these games it’s worth noting that we’ve seen them cheaper in recent months than they are in the Pro Day sale. That includes Cyberpunk 2077, which will cost $ 40 for Pro members on Saturday but was $ 30 as recently as this week. (We don’t recommend buying Cyberpunk 2077 for the latest gen consoles anyway, unless you’re waiting for the next gen upgrade.) Persona 5 Royal also sees a drop to $ 40, and although we recommend highly recommend the famous JRPG, you’ll likely find it cheaper at other auctions if you’re willing to wait – it was only $ 20 during Black Friday.
The sale also features first-party Nintendo Switch games for $ 50 instead of the usual $ 60. While it would have been notable in years past, $ 40 to $ 45 is increasingly the standard discount range for games like Super Mario Party, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Take a look at Walmart or Best Buy right now, for example, and you’ll find some of these games for under $ 50.
So what East worth it in this Saturday’s Pro Day sale? Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be reduced to $ 30 on current and next-gen consoles, a great deal if you haven’t snagged Ubisoft’s latest open-world adventure. Speaking of Ubisoft, Breath of the Wild Inspired Immortals Fenyx Rising will also be on sale for $ 30 on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. And while we’ve seen it at $ 30 before, Watch Dogs Legion is another solid at this price point.

Owners of current-gen consoles should also keep an eye out for discounts on Seagate gaming drives – the 4TB version will go on sale for $ 100, while the 2TB version will be reduced to $ 70. These are great options for storing and playing your latest generation games on newer consoles.
