Nick Bosa is the son of John Bosa, who was the first choice of the Miami Dolphins draft in the 1987 NFL draft. The former Bosa player had only a brief career with just seven sacks and two fumble recoveries in 31 games. Nick Bosa is also the brother of Joey Bosa, Los Angeles Chargers defensive end, who has changed the game since joining the Chargers in 2016.
Nick Bosa's injury history is troubling as he was injured in the abdomen after only three games in his first year of junior play. Prior to that, he suffered a tear in the ACL that ended his career in high school.
One thing is certain: the 49ers pass the necessary bags. The rest of the defense was hurting for anyone who did not call DeForest Buckner and who was unable to lobby. The 49ers would have a line from Ford, Buckner, Solomon Thomas and Nick Bosa. If Thomas can evolve his game, we are talking about what could be the best defense of football in a year or two.
