This is what Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady wants you to believe on the suggestion of former New England Patriots teammate Rob Ninkovich, who said head coach Bruce Arians was to be fired. ESPN’s Jenna Laine asked Brady about the comments following Sunday’s 27-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. By Pro Football Talk:
Laine: “Hey, Tom, as you head into your week off, there have been people chatting about, you know, you always seem to be leading someone’s offense. ‘other. One of your former teammates even said on TV that he thought you needed a new head coach. What do you think of all this?
Brady: “It’s just the external noise which when you lose is what you deal with. I love playing with the guys I play with, the coaches, the whole organization has been amazing. I think I have to go out and definitely do a better job the last four weeks of the year. So, I appreciate it. Let’s have a good week.
It should be noted that Brady left the press conference after this response and his Zoom call lasted two minutes and 21 seconds. So maybe there was something in what Ninkovich said. The former linebacker, who retired in 2016 after winning a pair of Super Bowls with Brady, appeared on “Get Up!” Thursday on Thursday. ESPN. say that the Ariens-Brady marriage must be dissolved.
