It’s a trend that I can follow.
The healthy trend started earlier this month when host Dan Levy left an encouraging note for Regina King, who was set to take the reins of the show the following week.
“You got that!” Dan wrote on a sticky note he left on the SNL dressing mirror. Of course, Regina must have taken a selfie with the sweet gesture when she took up residence in the room:
The tendency to pay forward continued the following week as Regina left a note to Regé-Jean, telling her: “You are going to be amazing !!!
And it turns out that Regé-Jean kept the tradition alive and left Nick a note of luck as well!
“Just have the best time Nick!” Regé-Jean wrote by signing the note with an X.

“That’s the plan! Thanks for the note,” Nick replied to Régé-Jean.
I have no choice but to support such a united group of celebrities!
Saturday Night LiveMaya Rudolph’s next host isn’t ready to take the stage for a few weeks, so only time will tell if Nick has continued the tradition!
