Nicki Minaj did not have to be vaccinated against COVID for the “RHOP” meeting

Nicki Minaj showed up for the recording of the “The Real Housewives of the Potomac” reunion, which made some people wonder if she had changed her mind about getting the vaccine … but TMZ learned that her status as vax was irrelevant.

As you know … Nicki caused a stir last month when she tweeted misinformation about the COVID vaccine – specifically, that her cousin’s friend in Trinidad and Tobago was having a serious side effect resulting in swelling of the testicles. She also hinted that she was still not vaccinated.

So, with her appearance at the “RHOP” reunion on Thursday night – something that came to fruition after she jokingly offered to host guests at. Andy cohen in July – fans thought she could have gotten the shot to get the gig.

But, we’ve learned that’s not necessarily the case … as being vaccinated was not a requirement for reunion registration.

Instead, Nicki and the ‘Housewives’ and the rest of the crew only had to comply with local orders in New Jersey … so in this case, get a PCR test that came back negative for COVID.

Obviously, everyone who was involved in the reunion tape, including Nicki, tested negative … but it’s still unclear whether the rapper is upset or not.
