Nintendo News: Good news for Zelda Breath of the Wild fans following Switch Lite rumors | Game | Entertainment

This week's reports claim that new Zelda games could be announced soon for the Nintendo Switch.

This would not be a direct sequel to Zelda's Breath of the Wild, but would undoubtedly be very popular with fans.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, released for the first time on the Game Cube, would have a new HD upgrade.

Having already seen such a project published on the Wii U, it is logical that Nintendo is ready to try again for the Switch.

Zelda games are selling well and we already know that a complete remake is in preparation for Link's Awakening.

However, it is unclear whether this new Wind Waker project would be as ambitious. The good news is that since WW has already received HD processing on the Wii U, its porting would not be so complicated.

Nintendo has proven itself in this area with Wii U games, including titles such as Mario Kart 8 and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze.

However, it should also be noted that this rumor has been shared online and should therefore be taken with a big pinch of salt.

The moment such a project would be published on the Nintendo eShop or if there would be new features included was not mentioned.

He specified that Twilight Princess HD would also be launched on the eShop, alongside Wind Waker.

"I do not know what is Best Buy's" Link To The Past "list, but according to some sources, Twilight Princess HD and Wind Waker HD will both arrive at Switch eShop," he added. Stealth Twitter account released this week.

"Maybe linked to the Best Buy list, could not. This is just a rumor so grains of salt and all that.

"The main source of this problem is someone who has spoken to me more than 15 WAY games earlier than when they were announced.I was confident enough to post it, but it's really a rumor until it's official. "

The critics of Wind Waker HD on Wii U were largely positive, the Nintendo porting getting a score of 8.9 on Metacritic.

But until Nintendo makes an official announcement, these latest Switch news should be interpreted with a pinch of salt.

And this is not the only one to tour this week, other reports suggesting the release of a new Nintendo Switch console this year.

A "Lite" version of the popular handheld is expected to hit the market in 2019, which would be cheaper and probably have fewer features.

It had to happen with another console, something that was dubbed the Nintendo Switch Pro.

However, since this rumor made its appearance, others have followed, suggesting that Nintendo would not be ready to launch it this year.

"Beyond the smaller, budget-based model is the development of the next-generation reworked model to replace the currently available one," says a report from Nikkei (via NintendoLife).

"Nintendo is thought to be experimenting with a number of different things for the device, including usability, improved image rendering, and changes to the operating system.

"A source of development, however, says that at this point it's still not clear who in the company will eventually take the lead in the conceptual development of the new console."

This latest report suggests that this new Pro console will not be ready in 2019 and could be more of a device that will take over from the current Handheld Switch.

Hopefully we will learn more about these different stories in the weeks and months to come, Nintendo to present an entertaining show on E3 in 2019.
