Terror of the metroids

Switch exclusive Terror of the metroids is really the game of the moment, but it looks like some people don’t even play this new version on Nintendo hardware. As pointed out by the people of PC Gamer, some people are already running this title on open source Switch emulators – increasing the resolution to 4K and unlocking the framerate.

A YouTube channel uploaded a 10-minute “Yuzu Emulator Performance Test” video (that we will not share here) – featuring Dread running on a PC powered by a 6GB GTX 1060, an Intel Core i5-8400 processor and 16GB of DDR4 RAM.

As amazing as it sounds on the PC, it will likely raise a few eyebrows at Nintendo HQ. Of course, if you want to show your support for Samus’ new game, the best way to do that is by playing Metroid Dread on Switch.
