The Noble County grand jury met on Wednesday and 12 people were charged.

Sierra D. Garvin, 25, of 12187 Rayner Road, Cumberland, has been charged with one count of firearm theft, a third degree felony.

Eleven secret indictments have been issued.

According to Section 2939.22 of the Ohio Revised Code, secret indictments should not be entered by name until after the accused has been arrested.

The charges included harassment by an inmate, third degree felony, criminal trespass, fourth degree misdemeanor; and counterfeiting, a fourth degree crime.

There were also two counts of burglary, both third degree felonies; two counts of illegally transporting weapons or prohibited items on the grounds of a facility or detention facility, both of which are third degree felonies; two counts of drug trafficking, both fourth degree crimes; and six counts of possession of drugs of various levels of crime.
