The Greek Prime Minister is flat after the fire department

The Greek authorities were strongly criticized for their lack of preparedness and their inability to evacuate residents quickly and put out forest fires earlier in the week devastated by Athens

. During a Friday government televised meeting, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said that he "fully respects the Greek people for the political responsibility for this tragedy."

– This is what a prime minister and a government should do, he said.
