The search for several victims continues.

"We assume that between five and eight people can be in ruins," said the spokesman.

French Secretary of State Christophe Castaner arrived in Marseille on Tuesday to attract attention and discuss with the rescuers.

"The most important thing now is to save lives," he said.

Wounded passenger

Two casual bystanders were injured while they walked on the sidewalks when a building suddenly burst. However, they relaxed well with minor damage.

A large number of firefighters participate in rescue operations and specially trained dogs are used to search for several victims of the remains of the building.

The street of a building was blocked by bricks and other masses of the collapsed house. A thick layer of dust covers much of the street.
