It is not confirmed whether a ninth boy is saved from the cave in Thailand, but the same thing happened during previous actions when the boys were rescued.

They were then transported to an ambulance that drove from there. It is expected that all five will leave the cave on Tuesday.

At least nine ambulances waited in the cave area after chief of rescuers, Narongsak Osottanakorn, said Tuesday's goal was to get the last four boys and the football coach of the cave. Also a doctor and three sailors who have been with the boys since they were found more than a week ago, will leave the cave on Tuesday.

Authorities waited Sunday and Monday for several hours to confirm that they had picked up some of the boys.

Tuesday's rescue action began around 10 am local time in Norway.

On Sunday, four of the boys were kidnapped and this rescue operation lasted eleven hours. Still Monday, four boys were picked up, in an action that took nine hours, which was shorter than expected.
